Craps' Odds of Winning: Nearly 50 Percent Craps is a table game played with dice. One person is the 'shooter,' who rolls the dice, and the other players make wagers on the results of that roll. On the first roll, called 'coming out,' the shooter wins on a seven or an eleven. I am in NYC on business for a few days, so I went to Resort World looking to play some craps. I saw they only had a bubble machine, no problem. Then I saw that there was a $15 min bet. I only had a hundred and fifteen bucks with me, but I figured I'd give it a try. I bet the pass, point is set, seven out. This repeated five times in a row. I play both but lean towards the bubble because the tipping protocol still intimidates me on the live table. I know I should just get over it, but I find myself so worried about protocol that I don't have any fun. Odds multipliers on the bubble craps usually stink but I still have more fun with no faux pa pressure. Most craps tables on the Las Vegas Strip offer 3/4/5 times odds. This means that a player can wager three times the flat bet on a 4 and 10, four times on a five and 9, and five times on a six and eight. Where it's located, I can watch the live tables for a good shooting opp. to arise from there and I often can grind out $100 an hour playing that way.

Personally, I've never run into one of these games so I have no real skin in this game to contribute yet. But I would still love to hear other's experiences and ways to approach the game that differ from the more traditional game we all know and love.
