in the Aluminium Extrusion market.

The vision and dream of people who desire to make a difference, to grow and impact our community in a positive way and to be recognised worldwide. Consisting of a 2 extrusion press plant, an anodizing plant, semi-automated powder coating line, recycling plant, four stockists and a window manufacturing workshop, we are on track with our short term plan to accomplish this dream.

It all started just over a decade ago when we opened a business manufacturing windows. We decided to build an anodizing plant to anodize aluminium. After some years of success, we began importing aluminium extrusions for the architectural market and because of the economic situation at the time, we took a big step of faith and decided to use the opportunity to create jobs in our community by building an extrusion plant.

We imported a 4.5 inch and a 5 inch press, had dies cut for window and door sections and started extruding these aluminium profiles. Our four stockists were established and each one has a dynamic sales team who are able to assist customers in their quest to supply a good quality product and service. After the impact we made on the market and the demand for competitive suppliers, we decided to build a tool room and equip it with the latest technology in machinery to do drawings and to cut dies ourselves.

Aluminium Extruders is now extruding profiles used to manufacture several window systems, patio doors, folding doors, showers, partitions, louvers and also customers own designs. We are also in the process of cutting more dies for the signage and general engineering market. We pride ourselves in always having a positive attitude and willingness to grow with new developments.

Our four stockists are strategically situated in Durban and Gauteng and are supplied daily with extrusions, hardware and ready made patio doors. Our prices are very competitive and we have secured a large customer base which is growing daily.

Being proud members of AFSA and carrying an SABS certificate of approval for our metal finishing plants, we are now providing our customers with this manual containing the information and specifications of how to assemble windows and doors according to the standards of the Building Association.
